I really wanted to get a move on and start putting up all of the new pictures that I had recently gotten from my mother before she arrived for a visit. I had never taken the time to hang the photos but I knew that she would expect to see them up and displayed. It took me a very long time to get them up because I could not stop looking at them and remembering the times when they were taken.

Many of them were from when I would sometimes sneak into my brother’s rooms and put on boys pajamas. It seemed that the boys pajamas were so much more comfortable then the girls nightgowns that I was expected to wear. When my mother arrived about three hours after I had hung the last picture frame, she gave me a gift to open. I guess that someone finally got smart and figured out that girls do not always have to wear nightgowns, no matter what their age is.

My father was thinking of getting back into business after being retired for four years. He said that he was very bored with staying home and just golfing all the time. I am going to have to avoid that store for a few months though, because I maxed out my credit cards for those two items. I will however return as soon as I can.
