My daughters love the outdoors. That is the reason why I maintain our garden with the best of my abilities. However, I have heard a number of news about the dangers posed by staying too long under the sun. I really got alarmed. As much as I do not want to prohibit my children to stay in our garden all the time, I also do not want them to get sick.

Knowing and feeling how bothered I was, my husband suggested that we install sun umbrellas in several parts of our garden. He said that while they are playing or staying in the garden, they can sit under the umbrellas for protection. Or we can also have a patio built in the middle of the garden, so they will have a bigger space to move about. But, we will still have to put drop curtains at the sides of the patio so they will have utmost protection from the sun.

My husband made very good suggestions. Either way, I am happy that I have several alternatives to choose from. My children will always be safe.
