Before I got hired by my current employer, I used my spare time gardening in the small backyard we have. I love plants and growing them. In fact, I would venture as far as to say I have a green thumb and I can virtually grow anything. And I did grow some vegetables which usually found their way into our kitchen. My wife loved the idea that she can use fresh veggies in our food. But everything changed when I got offered a job that required me to leave home early and go home late. My wife also has her own gig and there was nobody I can entrust the gardening chores to. My plants slowly began to wither and one by one they began to die.
