While planning our summer vacation, my husband and I decided to stay at some out of the way places that were different than the normal Galena hotel. We found out that there was a Galena bed & breakfast and it was really nice. That was the kind of thing that we were looking for and so we booked three nights there and then found another place just up the road to also try out.

The price for the Galena bed & breakfast was a little higher than the place up the road, but you could just tell that it was much nicer and it just oozed with charm. I love older houses and this one looked like nothing had been changed at all. Even the beds were of the old country and it just added to the ambience of the rooms.

I was excited to get moving and see the Galena hotel that we had chosen, but my husband got very sick and we had to cancel out vacation. I am hoping that we can redo everything next year and then try out all the different places we wanted to go. I know that the bed & breakfast will still be there and it will be on the top of the list.
