I had to take my Honda lawnmower to get serviced last week and they were having a sale on the new Honda models. I knew that I really did not need to buy a new one but they were all nice and shiny and mine was looking a little old.

I then found out that they have a lawn mower trade in program where you are made an offer for your old Honda and then you can apply it to the purchase of a new Honda lawnmower. I called and discussed making the purchase with my wife because if she were to make such a big purchase without me, I would be very angry.

My wife and I decided to ask just how much they would give us for our old lawn mower and then see if it would be worth it or not. Since the serviceman knows that I have taken very good care of my mower, he should be able to tell the guy who makes you the offer that my Honda is in great shape and that should make the offer a little higher. If I do not get a new one now, then it will be fine. Mine is still in great working order and I know that if the deal is not good, that I will not just buy the new Honda because it is all nice and shiny. It must be a good deal to justify the purchase.
