I was looking in the newspaper for web designer jobs and could not find any. I then turned to the internet and typed in web designer jobs and could not believe how many jobs that there were. I was looking to work from home, since my wife had just started a new job here. I started sending my resume to a few of the listings to see what kind of a response I could get.

I made it very clear that if any web design company wanted to hire me then I would need to work from home and my salary needed to be over a certain amount but not under the specified amount. I figured that if there were this many web designer jobs out there that they could not fill, and then almost any web design company would be happy to just have someone apply.

I was given three offers, and almost all three were too good to pass up. I sat down and really read over what each of the web design companies expected of me and narrowed it to two. I then went to my wife and told her about each of the web designer jobs offers and let her look over all of the information.

We are sure that we chose the right one, because I have been with the same web design company for about three and a half years now, and have been very happy.
